$75 Million Industrial Site Development

(Jefferson City, MO.) Missouri Governor Mike Parson is announcing officials with the Missouri Department of Economic Development are awarding $75 million to 15 projects across the state through the Industrial Site Development Grant Program. The program, funded through the American Rescue Plan Act and part of Governor Parson's Fiscal Year 2023 budget plan, is focused on helping communities develop shovel ready industrial sites to support business expansion and attraction. The only town near the Parkland to receive funding was Crystal City in Jefferson County. The town will get 2 and a half million dollars from  the program. Other cities in the region to gain funding through the program include Sikeston and St. Louis.
