Alzheimer's Walk Awareness Event

(Farmington, MO.) The Annual Walk to End Alzheimer's is going to held in Farmington next month. The Intake Coordinator of the Geriatric Psychiatric Unit at Parkland Health Center, Deanna Roberts, says the event will be held Saturday, September 14th in downtown Farmington. Roberts says registration for the walk begins at 8 o'clock that morning.

Roberts says she wants remind everyone there will be activities and contests at the event as well. She adds Parkland Health Center has a Senior Support Unit  that takes in senior patients with memory problems.
