Blunt Slams High Cost of Spending Bill

(Washington, DC) Missouri United States Senator, Roy Blunt, is unhappy with the Democrat's $3.5 trillion dollar spending bill. Blunt says the total amount of the bill is 67% higher than the $2.1 trillion spent by all 50 states combined in 2019 and if all the programs in the measure are extended in the years ahead, the figure is even higher.

Blunt also says not only is this spending bill incredibly high, it also spends money on things the federal government has never spent money on before at a time when Americans are hurting financially and costs for everyday goods like food, fuel, and clothing are on the rise.
