Bonne Terre House Fire

A Bonne Terre house is destroyed after a fire Thursday afternoon. Reports indicate a call was made about a fire on the 200 block of Church Street at 4:16 with members of the Big River Bonne Terre Fire Department the first on scene. Big River Bonne Terre Fire Chief, David Pratte, says there was heavy smoke and fire in the building when crews arrived to the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. There were no injuries reported. The Desoto Rural, Park Hills, and Delsoge Fire Departments assisted Big River Bonne Terre.
