Bonne Terre Man Charged with Child Sex Crimes

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - A Bonne Terre man is behind bars after authorities are alerted of inappropriate pictures on his cell phone.

According to the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department, on Monday, June 17, the department was contacted by the man's wife, after she discovered inappropriate images of an apparent minor child on his phone. The St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department Detective Division initiated an investigation and was able to obtain evidence to show the suspect was taking nude images of a minor child and sharing the images in video chats with other adult males.

33-year-old Andrew Miller is facing charges including; two charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Promoting Child Pornography - 1st Degree, Use of Child In Sexual Performance, Possession of Child Pornography - 1st Offense, Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child Under 15 - 1st Offense, which are all felonies.

Miller is currently being housed at the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department Detention Center on a no-bond warrant.

As this investigation continues, additional charges may be forthcoming.
