Busy Afternoon for Leadwood Fire Protection District with Multiple Calls

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Leadwood Fire Protection District responded to a series of emergency calls Thursday afternoon, handling a total of five incidents between 12:40 p.m. and 6:57 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to a variety of calls, including one medical emergency, one wash-down involving debris, a brush fire, an investigation into a possible fire that turned out to be a rubbish pile where a structure once stood, and one confirmed structure fire.

Fortunately, all calls were handled without any injuries reported.
