Cadet Woman is Seriously Injured

(Washington County, MO.) A Cadet woman, 63 year old Mary L. Cook, is recovering from serious injuries she received after a two vehicle accident Tuesday morning, about 11 o'clock, in Washington County. According to Troopers with the Highway Patrol Cook was driving west, at the intersection of Highways 21 and E, when she failed to stop for a red traffic signal and drove into the path of a pick up truck driven north by 54 year old Thomas B. Reece, of Irondale. Reece's truck crashed into the driver's side door of Cook's car. Cook was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital.
