Chamber Meeting TIF Talk

(Park Hills, MO) Park Hills business owners are talking about TIF, or tax increment finance districts, and how they might help the Parkland, after Tuesday's Park HIlls Leadington Chamber of Commerce meeting. A Regional Planner with the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning and Economic Development Commission, Leslie Seabaugh, told the crowd at the meeting a TIF district can remediate and revitalize blighted areas.

Seabaugh also mentioned the Commissions revolving loan fund and how it could help businesses as well. The annual awards banquet was also a topic on the agenda at the Park HIlls Leadington Chamber of Commerce meeting.
