Changes to Stono Hill Curve

(Doe Run, MO) A dangerous curve on Highway 221, just west of Doe Run at the approach to Stono Hill, is set for changes to improve the curves safety factor. Missouri Department of Transportation Area Engineer, Chris Crocker, says they're going to update the flashing safety chevrons and take out some of the curve.

Crocker also says this is part of an overlay project for Highway 221 that brings other challenges as well including right of ways and soil issues dealing with drainage.
