Davis Arrested for Fredericktown Shooting

(Fredericktown, MO.) An area man, 39 year old Brandon L. Davis, is in custody after an alleged shooting incident Monday night in Fredericktown. Reports indicate a man entered the lobby of the Fredericktown McDonald's screaming he was being shot at by another man. There were two Fredericktown Police Officers in the restaurant. The officers sped away in search of a suspect and found him running in a field near Parkland Health Mart. He was taken into custody and witnesses say he allegedly had a traffic confrontation with his girlfriend's brother. It's said Davis had been shooting at two men in a pick up in the area of West Main and the 72 bypass. The incident occurred just after 8 p.m.  Davis is charged with unlawful use of a firearm, armed criminal action, possession of a controlled substance, property damage in the first degree, driving with a revoked license, and two counts of assault in the first degree.
