Desloge Resident Injured in Wreck

(Jefferson County, MO) A man from Desloge, 37 year old Anthony A. Curtis, is recovering from moderate injuries after he was hurt in a wreck in Jefferson County Friday afternoon. According to Highway Patrol reports Curtis was headed north on Highway 61, at Country Haven Drive at 5:44, when he failed to notice a car driven north by 63 year old Pamela K. Richman, of Desloge, was stopped in traffic. Curtis' motorcycle struck the rear of Richman's car throwing Curtis off the bike. Curtis, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. Richman received minor injuries.
