Doe Run Man Dead After Pickup Accident

(Shannon County, MO.) A Doe Run man, 52 year old James C. Fears, and a man from Winona, 61 year old Dale T. Weber, are both dead after the pick up truck they were riding in ran off the road on Highway 19, a mile south of Winona in Shannon County. Highway Patrol reports show the wreck took place just after 12 noon Saturday as the pickup, driven north by Fears ran off the right side of the highway. He overcorrected and the truck ran back over the road and off the left side of the road. It rolled over throwing Fears and Weber out. Neither Weber nor Fears was wearing a seat belt when the wreck took place.
