Fatal Washington County Boating Accident

(Washington County, MO) A Fenton man, 74 year old Dennis Breitenstein, is dead following a boating accident that occurred in Washington County over the weekend. Reports from the Highway Patrol show the accident happened just before 7:30 Saturday morning at a private pond off Baugher Town Road. Breitenstein and another man leaned over the side of a boat, then fell in. Breitenstein, who was not wearing a life preserver, went under, but never resurfaced. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
