Felony Arrest Closes Highway 30 Near House Springs, Suspect Now in Custody

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Highway 30 in the House Springs and Cedar Hill area was temporarily shut down in both directions Friday morning as Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with the SWAT Team and Crisis Intervention Unit, carried out a felony arrest on a man who had stopped his vehicle along the highway near Executive Parkway.

The standoff caused a significant disruption to morning traffic, with eastbound drivers being diverted to alternate routes.

The highway was shutdown for a couple of hours.
