Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Fenton woman, 51-year-old Amanda D. Everly, is facing 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple drug-related charges and violating the terms of her probation.
On November 26, Jefferson County Division 4 Circuit Judge Brenda Stacey handed down the sentence, which stems from arrests in 2022 and 2023. The sentencing also revoked Everly’s probation from a 2021 drug possession conviction. According to court records, Everly pleaded guilty on August 29 to charges including second-degree drug trafficking, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and several traffic violations. Among the charges, drug trafficking and possession were classified as felonies, while the others were misdemeanors. Judge Stacey sentenced Everly to 10 years for each felony charge, 180 days for drug paraphernalia possession, 180 days for driving with expired plates, and 15 days for failing to maintain a single lane. Additionally, Everly was fined for driving with a revoked license and without insurance.
The sentences for these charges will run concurrently, resulting in a total of 10 years. However, the judge also reinstated a previously suspended five-year prison term from Everly’s 2021 conviction. That sentence will be served consecutively, adding up to a total of 15 years in prison. The November 2022 charges originated from a traffic stop near the Walmart in High Ridge.
A Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy discovered methamphetamine, heroin capsules, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, including a glass smoking pipe, in Everly’s possession.
