Final Day of Heat Advisory

(St. Francois County, MO) A heat advisory, which has been in effect for most of the week, is set to expire at 9 o'clock this evening. The National Weather Service says that high heat and humidity will once again drive heat index values upward, and are expected to top out near 106 today. You are urged to limit your time outside, if you can, and to drink plenty of fluids. Do not leave children or pets inside your vehicle, and be sure to look after your neighbors and family members.
