Fire Crews Battle Brush Fire

Irondale, Mo. (KFMO) -  Fire crews battled a brush fire Tuesday afternoon, at about 4:30 p.m.

According to the Irondale Fire Protection District, they were called for a brush fire off of Highway U. When fire crews arrived on scene, they found approximately 2 acres on fire. Crews were able to get the fire contained quickly with the help of mutual aid departments. No injuries were reported.

The Bismarck Fire Protection District and Belgrade Volunteer Fire Department helped battle the blaze.
