Freeze Warning

(St. Francois County, MO) A freeze warning will be in effect for the listening area, beginning at 1'clock Wednesday morning and lasting until 9am. The National Weather Service says that temperatures are expected to drop to 27 degrees. Cold temperatures could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Be sure to take steps to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes, they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
