Gallaher Gives State of the County

(Park Hills, MO) St. Francois County citizens are looking forward to the new year and several developments coming up for the county in 2022 after Monday's State of the County address. The presentation featured a speech from the Presiding Commissioner of St. Francois County, Harold Gallaher, who told the crowd building a new bridge over Berry Road north of Bonne Terre, is one of their biggest priorities for improving service for the county.

Most of the Mayors in the Parkland including, Mayor John Clark of Park Hills, Desloge Mayor David Shaw, Bonne Terre Mayor Brandon Hubbard, and Farmington Mayor Larry Forsythe. The Mayor of Leadington, Joe Davis, was unable to attend. The President of Mineral Area College, Dr., Joe Gilgour, gave the crowd an update on the latest with MAC. The St. Francois County State of the County address was held in the Fine Arts Theater on the MAC Park Hills campus and it was broadcast live, in its entirety, on AM 1240, KFMO.
