Gannon on Broadband

(Jefferson County, MO) With funding for broadband services coming to rural areas of Missouri there are several sections of the Parkland that will receive assistance. State Senator, Elaine Gannon, says there are locations in her district that will be given some of the money to address the issue.

Counties in the Parkland to be serviced by the funds include St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Washington, Iron, Dent, Crawford, and Jefferson. The program prioritized unserved and underserved areas. Funds will be used to build new connections that will deliver symmetrical speeds of 100 Mbps upload / 100 Mbps download or greater.
