Hazards Associated With Spring Burning

(Bonne Terre, MO) As we make our way into spring, many people will be burning leaves and other items left over from fall. Chief of the Big River Bonne Terre Fire Department, David Pratte, says there are things you can do to ensure your fire doesn't get out of hand.

Pratte says it's also important to notify your local fire department in advance, just so they're aware.
