Help The Hungry Bake Sale This Weekend

(Farmington, MO.) The Annual Help The Hungry Bake Sale is coming up this weekend in the Parkland. One of the organizers of the event is Chris Landrum. Landrum says what was intended to be a one or two year event, has turned into an annual event because of need.

According to Landrum says this isn't a normal bake sale since all the different types of food are divided into different booths.  Landrum explains if you want fudge, you would go to the fudge booth, or a cake booth for cakes. The Help The Hungry Bake Sale will be this Saturday from 9 am until 1 pm at the St Joseph Parish Gym at 501 Ste. Genevieve Avenue in Farmington. Help the Hungry Bake Sale has raised nearly half a million dollars for the Farmington's Ministerial Alliance and St. Vincent de Paul food pantries.
