Henderson Wins Republican Ticket for Senate Seat, Will Face Halbert in November Race

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Current Missouri State Representative, 117th District, Mike Henderson will face Democrat Doug Halbert in the November General Election, vying for the Missouri State Senator, District 3 seat.

Henderson won the Republican vote, in Tuesday’s August Primary, against Missouri State Representative Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway. Unofficial results show Henderson won with 59.941% of the vote. Buchheit-Courtway won Jefferson County, while Henderson won St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Washington and Crawford Counties.

Halbert was unopposed.
