Honor Flight Looking for Veterans

(Desloge, MO) The Honor Flight of Franklin County, which covers our region, is looking for veterans of World War II, Korea, or Vietnam, Honor Flight officials want to take you to Washington DC to see your memorial for free. A member of the Desloge VFW Auxiliary, Shirley Brinkley, says veterans in our area haven't signed up yet for the flight.

Brinkley explains they're going to have a free chili dinner October 23rd at 1 pm for all veterans and guardians who are interested in taking the Honor Flight. Interested veterans and a member of their family can attend the free chili supper and get information on the flight. For more details contact the Desloge VFW post at 573-431-3915.
