Inquest into Martin's Death Shows Violence

(Fredericktown, MO) The next step in the case of the death of 19 year old Derontae Martin is being looked into after it was ruled his death resulted from violence. According to reports a coroner's inquest jury didn't take long to make the ruling after viewing evidence and listening to testimony Friday in Madison County. Authorities were called to a residence in Madison County on Route Z at about 3 o'clock the morning of Sunday, April 25th to check on Martin who had been shot and was unresponsive. Officers and first responders found him dead in the attic of the residence. Martin was a 2020 graduate of Central High School.
