Investigation into Butler County Body

Butler Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Butler County law enforcement officials are investigating a homicide after a body was discovered near Butler County Road 611 about 8 p.m. Saturday.

Sources say fishermen found the body lying off a UTV trail. An autopsy was held Monday and authorities aren't releasing the identity of the body yet.

Due to this being an active investigation no other information is being released.
