Iron County Fatal Traffic Accident

(Ironton, MO.) An Ironton man, 45 year old Gary L. Russell, is dead after two pick up trucks crashed head on into one another this morning in Iron County. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say the wreck took place at 2:20 a.m. as one of the trucks, driven south on Highway 21, north of East Madison Street in Ironton by 22 year old Lucas S. Browers of Lesterville, crossed over the centerline smashing into the front of a Russell's pick up which was going north. Russell, who was not wearing his seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Browers was not injured.
