It's National Foster Care Month

(Farmington, MO) May is National Foster Care Month and statistics show there are more than 400,000 children in foster care systems nation wide.

Executive Director of the CASA of the Parkland, JoAnna Watts, says they serve courts the 24th circuit.

CASA of the Parkland is a group who provides a voice for foster children in court. According to Watts there are more than 500 children in the Parkland in the foster care system.
