Jefferson County Woman Killed in 1 Car Crash

(Jefferson County, MO) A woman from House Springs, 24 year old Brittany Uzell, is dead following a 1 car crash in Jefferson County early Sunday morning. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Uzell was traveling north on 141, at Ellis Grove Parkway, about 1:45. Reports show Uzell was traveling at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her car and it went off the right side of the road before hitting a light post. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Uzell was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
