Legislative Session Budget Work Continues

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri Legislators are still working with the state's new budget. The State Representative of the 1128th District, Mike McGirl, says this year's budget, with COVID dollars from the U.S. government, sits at $46.5 billion dollars and it has been approved by House members and sent on to the Senate.

According to McGirl they also put money into road work for the state's highways and additional funding for rural roads. The A+ program also received additional monies.
