Measure Would Curb Public Marijuana Use

(Farmington, MO) A measure before members of the Farmington City Council would prohibit the smoking, or consumption, of marijuana in public spaces in the town. City Administrator, Greg Beavers, says this came about through complaints from citizens, and business owners, who smelled the odor of the drug outside businesses in Farmington and considered it disruptive.

Beavers explains the ordinance will become law when it's passed after a second reading which will probably take place at the next council meeting.
