Mikayla Jones Death Investigation Update

(Washington County, MO) The latest reports on the death of Mikayla Jones show the Farmington teen died of an apparent overdose and her body was left off Highway M in Washington County. Two men and a woman are in custody and will be facing charges of abandonment of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and hindering prosecution. Authorities are waiting on toxicology reports for further results. Washington County Sheriff, Zach Jacobsen, says those charges could have been avoided, and Jones could still be alive, if someone would have called 911 for help. KFMO B104 News will have more information as further details in the case become available.
