Mineral Point Woman Injured In Washington County

(Mineral Point, MO.) A Mineral Point woman, 43 year old Cynthia S. Anderson, is recovering from moderate injuries after a two vehicle accident in Washington County Wednesday afternoon at about 1:20. According to Highway Patrol reports Anderson was driving east on Highway 8, nearly a mile west of Old Highway 8, following a jeep being driven east. Highway Patrol records do not give a name for the driver of that vehicle. Anderson failed to see the Jeep had slowed and her car smashed into the rear of Jeep. Anderson was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital.
