Missing Iron County Man Found Safe

Iron Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The search for 59-year-old Mike Jaco ended Saturday afternoon on a happy note, after being missing for a week.

Iron County Sheriff Chuck Helton says that Jaco was located by his cousin and another searcher.

Helton says once Jaco was located, a flight crew from Air Evac and the Pilot Knob and Cherokee Pass Fire Departments assessed him and gave him fluids. He was transported to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.

Helton appreciates the help and support from the area for helping locate Jaco.
