MU Health Care COVID-19 Testing
University of Missouri Health Care reports they have conducted more than 1,000 tests for novel coronavirus since launching drive-thru testing last week. Daily testing has nearly doubled since they relaxed requirements for eligibility March 22.
Providers no longer need to ask patients with COVID-19 symptoms about previous exposure, risk factors or travel history before ordering testing. People who are eligible for testing include those with a fever, cough and sore throat.
To be tested, you should first contact your primary care physician. You can visit MUHealthVideoVisits.org and select the "COVID19" video visit option. The service is free.
