Muston Convicted of Sodomy in the First Degree

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Roy Muston has been convicted of Sodomy in the First Degree by a Washington County jury, after a February 23, 2023, sexual assault of another inmate in the Potosi Correctional Center.

At trial, Muston’s victim testified saying Muston locked himself in a cell with him, and then proceeded to sexually assault him. The victim fought Muston off until others could arrive to help. After help arrived, Muston then attempted to assault his victim a second time, and the victim had to fend Muston off with a mop.

Muston will be sentenced on October 7, 2024, and is facing up to life in prison.
