New Farmington Sports Complex Possible

(Farmington, MO) A new privately owned sports venue could be in the works for Farmington soon. Farmington City aAdministrator, Greg Beavers, says the complex would have baseball fields with turf, and it would be built off Wallace Road just east of the Senior Center.

According to Beavers city officials would need to change zoning, issue a special use permit, and perform a revision of city regulations to permit that kind of use for a private development of this kind. The issue is still being reviewed by city council members. Beavers adds the city is looking for residents comments on the matter to assist in the decision. You can leave your comments at City Hall.
