North County vs. Farmington Tailgate Raises Over $10,000 for Backpack Programs

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - The highly anticipated North County vs. Farmington football tailgate event went beyond expectations, raising a total of $10,134 to benefit local backpack programs. 

Reggie AuBuchon, with Bryant Restoration, expressed his delight at the event’s success.

North County led the fundraising efforts, bringing in $5,550 from tailgate sales alone. Additional contributions of $1,000 from Parkland Health Center, $500 from Unico, and $500 from Save A Lot boosted North County's total to $7,550.

Farmington raised $1,584 from its tailgate sales, with Parkland Health Center adding another $1,000, bringing Farmington’s total to $2,584.

The funds raised will go directly to the backpack programs in North County and Farmington, which provide food and essentials for students in need. 

Organizers say the event not only showcased community spirit but also highlighted the importance of supporting local students.
