North St. Francois County Middle School Investigates Possible Threat

Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - At the end of the school day Thursday, North St. Francois County Middle School administration received a report of a possible threat directed towards staff and students on the NCMS campus.

No other buildings or district facilities were included in the report. According to the district, an investigation into the alleged statement is underway and will be concluded as soon as possible. District officials emphasized that all actions to resolve the issue will be carried out swiftly and in accordance with district policy. Law enforcement has been contacted and is collaborating with the school’s administrative team to ensure the safety of all students and staff.

District officials stated, “We take all threats seriously and work diligently to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff.”

The district has not provided further details about the nature of the threat but reassures the community that safety measures are being actively enforced.
