Old Joe’s Wild Ride Set to Thrill at St. Joe State Park This Weekend

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - This weekend, St. Joe State Park will come alive with the roar of engines and the thrill of competition as it hosts the MXC Round 4 Racing series.

"Old Joe’s Wild Ride," promises a weekend of high-octane fun for both participants and spectators. Crystal Dibold, Director of Events, says ATVs will take to the track on Saturday, while dirt bikes will have their turn on Sunday.

She also emphasized the inclusive nature of the event, mentioning that racers of all ages are welcome to participate. 

While Old Joe’s Wild Ride is not an AMA-sanctioned event, it remains a highly anticipated fixture in the regional racing calendar. MXC Racing, known for its thrilling ATV and dirt bike races, draws enthusiasts from across Missouri and beyond, providing a platform for both seasoned racers and newcomers to showcase their skills.

The race takes place at the historic old mines at 4000 State Highway 32, which offers a unique and rugged backdrop for the races. Gates open at 7 a.m. on both Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, with racing action kicking off at 8 a.m. sharp.

Attendees can enjoy the event with a minimal gate fee of $10 for adults, $5 for youth aged 11-17, and free entry for children 10 and under. Additionally, camping is available at no charge, making it an excellent opportunity for families and groups to enjoy the entire weekend.
