(Jefferson City, Mo) - Governor Parson holding a news conference on Wednesday to make an announcement in the ongoing battle of COVID-19.  Parson says a university within Missouri has developed a new way to test for Corona and it's already been approved by the FDA

Parson says overall numbers are starting to look better across the state.  There is one exception to that statement.  St Francois County continues to rank among the top 5 areas in the nation for new cases.  As of Wednesday afternoon, the St Francois County Health Department is reporting 991 cases since March 22, with 456 of those cases being active right now.  This represents an increase of 72 new cases since Tuesday.
