Pedestrian Struck on Highway 47

(Bonne Terre, MO.) A man from Park Hills, 39 year old Frank J. Sansoucie, is suffering serious injuries after he was struck by a car on Highway 47 near Pine Grove Lane, just west of the Bonne Terre City limits tonight. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol records the car that struck Sansoucie was driven by 30 year old Christopher G. Harmon of Potosi. Troopers say Harmon was headed west when he came upon Sansoucie standing in the westbound lanes of Highway 47. Harmon couldn't stop in time and the car struck Sansoucie. He was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Harmon was not injured. The accident took place just before 6 o'clock this evening.
