Pickup Crash in St. Francois County

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A female infant, from Bismarck, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was hurt in a pickup crash in St. Francois County Wednesday evening at 6:10 p.m.

Missouri State Highway Patrol records indicate the truck was being driven north on Highway 221, north of 1st Street, by 31-year-old Jessica R. Perez who's also from Bismarck. The truck ran off the right side of the road crashing into a ditch and a road sign. The infant, and Perez, who received minor injuries, were taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington.

The report from the Patrol indicates Perez wasn't wearing a seat belt and the infant was not in a safety device during the crash.
