Preliminary Steps for Pipeline

Bismarck, Mo. (KFMO) - Preliminary steps are being taken to begin the construction of a natural gas pipeline from Desloge to Bismarck.

Bismarck Mayor, Seth Radford, says surveyors are marking out the path.

According to Radford The pipieline is needed for a couple of Trap Rock companies that will be building plants in the Bismarck area.

Officials in Jefferson City say they're confident funding for the project will stay in the state's budget which is still needed to be signed by Governor Mike Parson.
