Price Increases Make Preparations Tough

(Potosi, MO) Organizers for the Potosi Elks Lodge are having a difficult time preparing the Backpack Program for the upcoming school year. A Member of the Lodge, Randy Eaton, says the Backpack Program feeds children in schools who can't afford lunches, but with the price of goods rising, it is getting tough to get enough food.

Eaton adds the Elks are likely going to spend more than $1,500 a week on produce for children.
