Proposition P Passes By Slim Margin

(St. Francois County, MO) St. Francois County will soon be a safer place for everyone after the Proposition P issue passed as results were reported in the St. Francois County Primary Election Tuesday night. The Sergeant of the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department, Tim Harris, says once they know how much the internet use tax will bring in, they can begin adding to the deputies.

Harris adds they should know in approximately 6 months how much tax monies, the Sheriff's Department will be getting back. The Proposition P internet use tax issue passed with 5,212 Yes votes of the 9,648 total votes.
