Sawtelle in Court on Sex Charges

(Park Hills, MO) A Park Hills man, 54 year old Jeffrey Sawtelle, will make an appearance in St. Francois County Court March 1st for a confined docket hearing on 2 counts of Statutory Rape Or Attempted Statutory Rape in the 1st Degree with a Person Less Than 14 Years of Age. Reports indicate Sawtelle is accused of forcing sexual acts on a female minor who was less than 14 years old when the alleged incidents took place. The attack is said to have occurred in August of 2019. Sawtelle is being held in the St. Francois county jail without bond.
