Scrap Tire Clean up in County

(Farmington, MO) A special scrap tire clean up is going on today and tomorrow in St. Francois County. The scrap tire event is being presented by the St. Francois County Road and Bridge Department. Associate County Commissioner, Patrick Mullins, applied for the grant to fund the effort, which comes from the Department of Natural Resources. Mullins says you can drop your scrap tires off at the county Road and Bridge facility at 1640 Woodlawn Drive, next to the Farmington Livestock Market.

If you have more than 10 tires to dispose of call the Road and Bridge Department at 573-431-4794 to schedule pick up. Mullins wants to remind everyone this is for St. FRancois County residents only and the scrap tire clean up ends at the end of business Friday.
