SEMO Family Violence Council More Than a Shelter

(St. Francois County, MO) Advocates at the SEMO Family Violence Council offer shelter for those who need it and protection for others along with other different opportunities for assistance. The Executive Director of the Council, Stephanie Bennett, says they are more than just a women's shelter.

Support groups meet at 5:30pm every Wednesday at the agency. According to Bennett SEMO Family Violence Council also offers Domestic Violence Education classes.
