Smith Against Gun Control Measure

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri United States Eight District Congressman, Jason Smith, does not support the gun legislation passed by congress. Smith says the gun control bill would strengthen red flag laws, which take away an individuals' due process rights while allowing law enforcement to remove guns from individuals at the request of an expansive list of acquaintances.

Smith spoke on the House floor prior to the vote last week to announce his opposition to the legislation.
